Foodex Japan 2012

Fiji’s Ambassador to Japan His Excellency Isikeli Mataitoga visited the Fiji Pavilion at Foodex Japan 2012 on Tuesday at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. The 37th International Food and Beverage Exhibition run through to Friday, with nearly 2400 firms participating from 72 countries and regions.  Fiji is represented by FMF Foods Limited (Formerly Flour Mills of Fiji Ltd). Headquartered in Suva, Fiji, the Group has a vast portfolio of food products such as flour, biscuits, noodles, rice, peas, snacks, oil and bakery ingredients.

Foodex Japan is the only trade show in the Asia-Pacific region that welcomes such a diverse of buyers from around the globe. Secretariats of the program also make arrangements with reputable large retailers and distributors from Japan to meet up with exhibitors. This is an excellent and effective opportunity for FMF to promote their products so as to penetrate the Asian markets.
