Fiji to feature on Minato City Cable TV Program, Tokyo: TV Interview at FET – 2 December, 2011

Fiji will be featured in a Cable Television program produced by the Minato City Ward, Tokyo with an introduction to Fiji’s culture, traditions and historical sights. The Fiji Embassy in Tokyo has been selected as one of the foreign embassies located within the Minato Ward, Tokyo to symbolise Minato City’s international outlook. The Minato Ward is home to several Foreign Embassies based in Tokyo and is adjacent to Kasumigaseki District where mainline Japan Government Ministries are located. The Fiji Embassy in October this year for the 3rd year in a row participated by invitation at the Azabu Fureai Matsuri International Festival for friendship exchanges with citizens of Minato Ward.

The 30 minutes program will be broadcasted as part of Minato Ward’s information program from mid January 2012 on CATV and CTT Mascot Channel, Digital:111ch appearing five times daily at 10am, 1.00pm, 3:00pm.5:30pm and 9:00pm. The program will also be webcasted for one year on Minato City’s website, a month after broadcasting. A television crew was at the Embassy this morning to interview First Secretary Mr Ravula for the program.
