PRESS CONFERENCE

A press conference on “Fiji Government Assistance to Students Affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami from the Tohoku Region, Japan” took place in the Fiji Embassy Conference Room yesterday, 25 May 2011.

The one-hour press conference featured assistance offered by the Fiji Government to students in the Tohoku region, especially Fukushima, Miyagi and Iwate Prefecture. It also provided an opportunity to advice on the discussion made with Iwate and Fukushima Prefecture Tokyo Offices, and supports from MOFA,TOKYO.
