FIJI BUSINESS SEMINAR in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture
The Fiji Embassy Tokyo, together with the official support of JETRO and the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry (METI) Kanto Bureau, conducted a 'Fiji Business Seminar' in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture on Wednesday, 26 January 2011.
Led by Ambassador Isikeli Mataitoga, the seminar provided an overview of the investment climate and various incentives now made available in Fiji for foreign investors. An overview of investment prospects in clean energy and climate change mitigation projects in Fiji using Japanese expertise and technology was also provided. Tourism Fiji Japan, Inter Action Corporation and Aquatec International were also part of the presentation sharing their experiences on Fiji.
The Embassy undertakes to provide assistance to potential investors in terms of advice and will facilitate necessary connections with relevant sectors in Fiji.
