Russian Delegation visits Fiji

A delegation of senior officials led by the Russian Ambassador accredited to Fiji HE Alexander Blokhin, is currently in Fiji meeting Fiji Government officials to identify areas of trade and investment. Fiji’s Non Resident Ambassador to the Russian Federation HE Mr Isikeli Mataitoga joined the delegation in Suva, this week. HE Mr Mataitoga in meetings held in Moscow early this year discussed with Russian officials prospects for investment in the Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries and other sectors in Fiji. The delegation this morning called on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation & Civil Aviation Ratu Inoke Kubuabola for a courtesy visit.
