Completion Ceremony of the Japanese Language Programs for
Foreign Service Officers and Public Officials

Twenty-eight young Foreign Service officers as well as public officials from various countries graduated yesterday, after a period of eight months long-term Japanese studies at the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai in Osaka.

Funded by the Japanese government, this program provides participants with various courses on Japan, field trips to various places in Japan, weekend excursions as well as home stays in order to deepen their understanding of Japan from various angles.
