Tourism Fiji (Japan) Reception
Tourism Fiji (Japan) office organised a reception/dinner for Tokyo based Travel Agents and airline officials on Tuesday 19 January in Tokyo as part of efforts to further promote Fiji under the theme FANTASTIC FIJI: A TRULY RELAXING HOLIDAY. The Ambassador in his address highlighted 5 reasons why Fiji remains as an ideal destination for Japanese visitors to the region: 1) Wide rage of tourist products available to tourists; 2) Cost effectiveness for products offered; 3) Transport interconnectivity for busy travellers; 4) The ‘BULA’ greeting and smile that is associated with the friendliness of our people; 5) Well developed infrastructure that supports the tourism industry. A similar program will be organised in Osaka on evening of Thursday 21 January 2010 by Tourism Fiji Japan Manager Ms Iki Kawabata with an address from Fiji’s Honorary Consul in Osaka.
