Presentation of Credentials

The Ambassador, H.E Mr Isikeli Mataitoga presented his credentials to His Majesty Emperor Akihito on Wednesday 13 January, 2010 as Fiji’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan in a ceremony held at the Imperial Palace. The ceremony was also attended by the Hon Minister for Health, Labour and Social Welfare of Japan Hon Akira Nagatsuma. The Ambassador was accompanied to the presentation ceremony by the Master of Ceremonies of the Imperial Household, Mr Takemori Yamazaki and First Secretary Mr. Ravula. The Ambassador and Mrs Mataitoga later hosted Embassy staff and Mr Yamazaki to morning tea at the Fiji House.
