2009 in Takanezawa Festival

On the second Sunday of every November, Takanezawa Town in Tochigi Prefecture holds an event, bringing in all foreigners as well as Japanese, to understand the beautiful meaning of “International Exchange in Takanezawa”.

Ambassador Mataitoga, FET staff, friends and families of Fiji joined hands in promoting Fiji to Takanezawa town citizens yesterday. Fiji cooking and goods, as well as kava were presented to visitors to inform them about Fiji. Much interest was also noted for better, promising ties between Takanezawa Town and Sigatoka Town, Fiji.
